About Us…

My backgrounds passion and expertise stems from hotel renovation-redesign and new build design. I also have extensive experience in event planning and event coordinating which requires a lot of imagination, creativity and design. 

What inspired me to go into this field was about 6 months ago I thought about starting a home staging business. I did a little research and received some information on it and didn’t do anything else with it. Then my son called me about 6 weeks ago because he got into grad school and had only 3 months to get his house sold. I went to his home and began decluttering, depersonalizing, cleaning and staged his home. It took me about 3 days, but after they met with a realtor and put the house on the market it sold in 4 days. That was when I told myself, “I can do this, and be successful at it.” 

Stage to Sell by Joy is an HSR Certified Professional Home Stager and Redesigner and has completed the most comprehensive home staging and redesign certification courses in the country provided by the Home Staging Resource. The Home Staging Resource is the first and only truly accredited staging training courses having undergone an extensive quality control and accreditation process by the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), who is the only third-party, governing association for the home staging industry.
